Pumpkin soup

250 gm pumpkin
1 carrot
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1/4 spoon black pepper powder
1 spoon butter
Salt to taste
Pumpkin soup recipe : Rinse, peel & chop pumpkin & carrot in cubes. In a pressure cooker heat butter. Add finely chopped garlic & onion. Saute for 2 minutes. Now add pumpkin & carrot with 1 glass of water. Cover and pressure cook for 10 minutes on medium flame. When the pressure settles down open the lid. Now transfer it to a grinder jar and then blend to a smooth puree. Do not blend when hot as the mixture splutters. Now add salt & black pepper powder. Mix well. Pumpkin soup is ready. Serve hot or warm. You can garnish with some herbs, bread croutons or cream.
